THE NEXT GENERATION IN WING CHUN FIGHTERS - SIFU OCH
Seeking Knowledge and Skill for the Protection of Others; Starting his training in Kempo Karate, Taekwondo, Judo & Hapkido, practicing to points of utter exhaustion. After several street fights he wanted more reality based training. Many years he finally found Wing Chun, which had the speed, techniques & protection he was after. In 2005 he was awarded Wing Chun Instructor of the Year from Grandmaster's Sokeship Council. 2009 he reached Black & Gold Sash under G.Master Swift & Sifu Dr. Nelson Rios. I owe a great debt to these two great men.
THE FOUR MASTERS COMBINED - STEVE LEE SWIFT
He first trained in boxing & Okinawa Karate, though even as a child in a military family traveling the world, survival was a necessity. He
needed an art that would keep him alive against one or multiple opponents in close quarter combat. He found Wing Chun: an Extremely Fast & Practical art form, designed only to save your life. While over seas, he trained under Simon Lau, Ip Chun, Ip Ching & Wong
Shun Leung learning the complete Wing Chun system. He was the first U.S. citizen to be certified in Hong Kong as a senior
instructor of the Ving Tsun Athletic Association.
RELENTLESS KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITY - DR. NELSON RIOS
Hardcore Fighter and Leading U.S. NaturePath; Dr. Nelson started his training on the streets, eventually going to War as a Ranger for the U.S. Military, trained in the arts of Military Combat, Boxing, Muy Thai, Gracie Brazilian Jiujitsu, SanShou, Knife & Gun, etc. Sifu Dr. Nelson wanted to bring his abilities to a new level he went to Wing Chun Kung Fu, experienced in the speed&

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL POWER & TECHNIQUE - IP CHING
Ip Ching was born 1936 in Foo Shan, China. At the age of thirteen Ip Ching began Wing Chun training under his father's (Yip Man) guidance. In 1962, Ip Man's school was at
his house and Ip Ching lived with his father. This gave Ip Ching an enormous
amount of insight to Wing Chun and his fathers teaching methods. Today Ip Ching teaches privately in his home and at the Ip Man Ving Tsun
Athletic Association in Hong Kong. Traveling abroad he conducts
seminars in the United Kingdom, Europe, and U.S.
A TOP FIGHTING LEGEND - WONG SHUN LEUNG
Starting training with Yip
Man at 17 but already had a reputation as a fighter, in fact
Wong Shun Leung's prowess as a "Beimo" fighter helped secure Wing Chun its formidable reputation. "Beimo" were semi-organized bare knuckle challenge fights in Hong Kong. Standing 5' 6" tall, fought perhaps over 100+ of these challenge fights and was never beaten. He earned the name Gong Sau Wong, King of Talking Hands. Once asked if he was the best fighter in the world he replied "no, only the second best." When asked who was the best he said "I don't know, I haven't met him."
TECHNIQUELY PROGRESSIVE & AGGRESSIVE - SIMON LAU
Master Lau's life has been dedicated to cultivating mind, body and spirit to the highest degree. He was born in mainland China & originally educated by Buddhist monks. At age 7, he began his martial arts training, studying Wing Chun Kung Fu and Chinese philosophy at the legendary Yip Man Martial Arts Academy; made internationally famous by the late Bruce Lee. He was chosen to represent muscle power in 'The Living Body', a documentary on the human anatomy, made by 'Gold Crest films'. Master Lau gained this part after proving he had the fastest punch.
The Wing Chun Kung Fu Lineage Tree represents the Masters who have come before that have made this art what it is today. It is because of these Great Masters to my Left that I Sifu Och have had the opportunity and chance to learn, become strong and now pass on the information I have learned to those few dedicated individuals around me. True Wing Chun is taught to only a few dedicated individuals with the strive and determination to continue. Yip Man -> Ip Chun, Ip Ching, Wong Shun Leung, Simon Lau -> G.Master Steve Swift-> Sifu Och // Yip Man -> Ip Chun, Ip Ching -> Wong Shun Leung, Simon Lau -> G.Master Steve Swift-> Dr. Nelson -> Sifu Och // Yip Man -> Ip Chun, Ip Ching -> Sifu Dr. Nelson -> Sifu Och
THE FOUNDER, A LEGEND & A LEGACY - YIP MAN
As a Teenager Ip Man learned the secret style of Wing Chun, eventually meeting Leung Bik who gave him understandings of the principles of Wing Chun that were deeper and more refined than his kung fu younger brother Chan Wa Shun. When Leung Bik died, Ip Man returned to Fatshan to help his kung fu brothers with the knowledge he had gained in Hong Kong. On the 1st December 1972 Grandmaster Ip Man passed away aged 79. Six weeks before, knowing he had not long to live he made the supreme effort to commit the Siu Nim Tao, Chum Kiu and Muk Yan Jong forms to 8 mm film in order to record and preserve the pure Wing Chun system. The Linked video in his name is a documentary on the Life of Ip Man.
